This Just In: Food Recall In Victoria
From Kathleen Shoemaker of the Victoria Celiac Association:
The current food recall due to salmonella in the additive ‘hydrolyzed vegetable protein’ affects several products that persons with celiac disease may have purchased.
I notice Quaker is on that list. Do people with CD eat Quaker products? I stay away from them, but this makes me think I may be avoiding them unnecessarily.
Anyway, thank you, Kathleen. If I got Salmonella on top of my most recent gluten attack (thank you Camosun College), I would not be pleased!
